St. Peters 21st Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Ring in the holiday season with a great St. Peters tradition, the 21st annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. This community favorite has been moved to a new date from its previous time and will now be held on Friday, Nov. 19 at St. Peters City Hall.

The Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony is fun for the whole family with holiday themed musical performances, a family-friendly Christmas movie, a visit from Santa, lots of Christmas lights beautifully decorated around City Hall and of course the countdown to the official tree lighting.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 at St. Peters City Hall.

Enjoy the music of local groups such as Lindenwood University Voices Only, St. Peters Choral Society, Fort Zumwalt East Strings and St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center’s Voice Lab.

After enjoying the music, take the kids to visit with Santa at the sleigh. Mom and Dad, bring your camera to snap some shots of the kids with Santa!

End the night with a free showing of the movie, A Christmas Carol starring Jim Carrey.
