St. Charle County Drug Task Force Arrest Meth Makers

Methamphetamine Detectives with the St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force were conducting an investigation of the theft of Meth making materials from a business in St. Charles.  The investigation led the detectives to a residence in the 3400 block of Ipswich Drive in St. Charles County.

Meth Detectives discovered occupants of the residence were actively manufacturing methamphetamine inside the residence.  The two occupants were arrested and charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, a class B felony, and the house was subsequently condemned.  The occupants were identified as:

Aaron Francis Aubuchon, 23 is being held in the St. Charles County Jail in lieu of $100,000.00 bond.  He has previous charges of theft of a firearm, possessing burglary tools, and felony stealing.

Cody Adam Aubuchon, 19 is also being held in the St. Charles County Jail in lieu of $100,000.00 bond.  He has previous charges of two counts of child molestation.

During the investigation inside the residence, detectives discovered what they believed to be stolen stereo equipment and other electronics.  While interviewing the suspect, it was revealed that the equipment was stolen during a home invasion in Potosi.

The information obtained from the original methamphetamine investigation was relayed to Detectives in Washington County, Missouri.  Washington County Detectives confirmed that they were investigating two church burglaries and a violent home invasion of an elderly male’s residence in which a gun was used.  The electronics found in the home of the Aubuchon’s were in fact the stolen items from burglaries being investigated in Washington County.

All of the information which was provided led to the arrest of Christopher Lawrence Gillenwater of Potosi, Mo.  Gillenwater is being held on an $80,000.00 bond on charges of Burglary 1st, Armed Criminal Action, Assault 2nd, and Felony Stealing.

We urge anyone that has information about drug activity to contact the DTFunit at 1-800-559-DOPE / 1-800-559-3673.
