Four Arrested For Kidnapping In St. Charles | Crime
The St. Charles Police Department has arrested four suspects in the kidnapping of a 22 year old man in St. Charles over a bad debt. The incident occurred on Tuesday, December 20th in St. Charles on South 5th Street. According to the victim, he was forcibly taken to the 400 block of Dove Drive in St. Charles, bound with duct tape to his hands and feet. He further stated that he’d been beaten, tortured and robbed.
The victim was able to escape and call the police, after the suspects left the home on Dove, for a short period.
Police state the kidnapping may have been over a $520 debt, owed to a suspect.
Jeffrey Wasser and his brother Curtis Wasser have been charged with kidnapping, robbery, assault and armed criminal action. The other two suspects, Ryan Koenig and Christopher Lujan had been charged with kidnapping. The Wasser brothers have had their bail set at $100,000 cash bond, while Koenig and Lujan had their bails set at $75,000.
